ABX Expands SMT Capability

To continue to support customers more challenging SMT builds with smaller components and higher density PCBA’s, ABX Engineering has upgraded another SMT line with the SIPLACE SX1/SX2

The SIPLACE SX1/SX2 will support components as small as 0201 (metric), with a component placement accuracy of ± 22 μm (3σ) and can utilize uto 120 tape feeder modules.

ABX has 3 SMT lines (two featuring the SIPLACE SX1/SX2) supporting component placements of average up to 245,000 components per hour. The lines feature fully automated in-line stackers, solder paste screeners with laser height application/measurement and reflow ovens.
